Starring Andrew Lawrence, Mick Ferry and Peter Brush, Middlesbrough Town Hall’s ‘Big Mouth Comedy Club’ certainly has a cracking lineup for their first show of the year.
Andrew Lawrence has been one of Britain’s most subversive and intelligent comedians since 2003. Collecting plenty of awards and nominations over the years, Andrew won the BBC New Comedy Award back in 2004 and has also appeared on TV’s Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Dave’s One Night Stand as a regular on Stand Up For The Week.
Joining Andrew is Mick Ferry. Renowned as a fine purveyor of lugubrious surrealism, Mick has quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after comics on the British and international comedy circuit since making his debut at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival back in 2009. On TV, Mick has starred in Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as Comedy Blue and The Comedy Store on Comedy Central.
Also joining Mick and Andy is Peter Brush. A highly-distinctive performer and skilful writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter unassumingly takes the stage with a slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair before conquering it with his quirky one-liners and original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
The show takes place at 20:30 on Saturday 2nd February at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Tickets, priced at £13.00 (including booking fee), are available from middlesbroughtownhall.co.uk. Please note: This show is strictly for this aged 18+.
