Newcastle-born comedian, Carl Hutchinson, will bring his hilarious award-winning material to Stockton this month for what’s set to be a show that’ll have you in a barrel of laughs from start to finish.
The comedian has supported the likes of WWE legend Mick Foley and fellow Geordie comedian Chris Ramsey on sell-out UK tours recently, but this headline date gives him the chance to really showcase his potential.
Hutchinson started out in comedy in October 2006, having previously been a maths teacher before embarking on a jam-packed comedy career.
Hutchinson’s first achievement, back in 2007, saw him win Manchester’s Frog and Bucket Beat The Frog World Series New Act Competition. He was also nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and Magners Pub Comedian of the year, highlighting his outstanding commitment and talent in comedy.
The comedian’s debut solo show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, named ‘Acceptable?’, was one of the top 10 shows of the Amused Moose Laughter Awards in 2012. In 2010, he starred in ITV’s FHM Comedy Hero and was also part of Tonics Big Value Edinburgh Showcase in 2011.
Carl speaks hilariously with regards to dinner parties with friends, school life and marriage – areas a lot of us can relate to. Also, expect witty gags and audience interaction from start to finish – don’t be afraid to get involved.
It’s clear to see how advanced the comedian’s material has become through his years on the comedy scene so expect to have your tonsils tickled throughout.
Carl Hutchinson will perform at ARC, Stockton on Saturday 4th November. Tickets, priced at £10.00 in advance, are available from arconline.co.uk. Doors open at 8:00pm. This is a 14+ event.
