Internationally-acclaimed comedy wunderkind Daniel Sloss is set to make his debut in Barnard Castle at Funny Way To Be Comedy Club on Tuesday 28th November. The twenty-five-year-old Scottish comic will bring his brand new show ‘Now’ to The Witham Arts Centre.
Daniel Sloss began writing and performing comedy at the age of just sixteen, starting his career by writing jokes for Frankie Boyle. Since then, Daniel has performed nine sell-out Edinburgh Fringe shows, two solo off-Broadway seasons, released a DVD, given a TEDx Talk, and toured extensively throughout the UK, Australasia, USA and Europe.
Sloss made his TV debut on The Paul O’Grady Show at the age of 18, and by 19, was starring in his own BBC show, ‘The Adventures Of Daniel’. His other television appearances include ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘The John Bishop Show’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, and much more. Revered the world over for his smart, dark, yet accessible comedy, Sloss has appeared on USA late night talk-show ‘Conan seven’ times; more than any other comic.
Funny Way To Be promoter Peter Dixon said: “Daniel has amassed a vastly impressive CV for someone still so young – it really is a testament to his talent, and we’re so pleased to finally have him join us in Barnard Castle on his new tour.
Tickets are priced at £12.00 and are available now from funnywaytobe.com. This show is suitable for ages 16+.
