Multi-award winning comedian and regular co-host of ‘The Guilty Feminist Podcast’, Felicity Ward is set to embark on her second nationwide tour of the UK with a completely brand new show titled ‘Busting A Nut.’
Fresh off the back of her new BBC Radio 4 series ‘Appisodes’ and a Netflix Special ‘Live from the BBC’, ‘Busting A Nut’ will no doubt see Felicity busting a nutful of jokes – I hold no claim for the pun so please delegate the blame and shame on the Stockton Arts Centre for that one!
Felicity’s career has seen her on acclaimed BBC titles such as ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Russel Howard’s Good News’ on BBC2, ‘The John Bishop Show’ on BBC1, ‘Josh’ on BBC3 and in the student perceived ‘cult-classic’ Inbetweeners 2 by Film4 Productions; she can also be heard on BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Museum of Curiosity’ and has supported both Kathrine Ryan and Maria Bamford live.
So profound is her comedic career that she has been labelled and cited by many famous nationwide media outlets. The Guardian noted that her performance was: “A laugh a minute… sharp, upbeat and self-mocking”, and The Independent stated that her shows are: “Thoroughly engaging…warm and witty.”
Felicity Ward’s ‘Busting a Nut’ nationwide tour will stop off a ARC, Stockton on Saturday 10th November with doors opening at 20:00. Tickets, priced at £12.00 in advance, can be purchased online at arconline.co.uk where you can also find out more about the range of comedy shows taking place at the venue this year.
