Undeniably one of the North East’s finest comedic exports of recent years, Teesside-based comic Fran Garrity is set to bring his suburb one-man show back home as he headlines The Georgian Theatre in the heart of Stockton early this month in what promises to be a night to remember.
Fran is no stranger to the stage and, given he’s been active on the comedy circuit for a number of years, he’s already set about creating a back catalogue of monumental performances, a tally which is only going to increase in the coming years.
2017 saw Fran secure a warm-up support slot for Mancunian comedian Jason Manford and later that year he debuted his solo show, ‘Secret Agent Fran’.
Often heard on the airwaves of both national and regional radio, Fran has featured on such shows as BBC Radio 4’s New Comedy Awards and BBC Radio Newcastle’s features ‘Jesting About’ and ‘It’s Grim up North’.
Through trouble, tragedy, hardship, and disorder – and with a lot of humility and dignity – Fran’s latest show is a story of faith, hope & garrity and is one that is not to be missed.
Fran Garrity takes to the stage at Stockton’s illustrious The Georgian Theatre on Thursday 4th October with support from Dean Moore. Doors open at 20:00. Limited advance tickets, priced at £6.60 (including booking fee), are available to purchase online at georgiantheatre.co.uk. Tickets are additionally available to purchase on the door for £8.00.
Please note: This event is for ages 18 + only.
