Edinburgh Fringe-nominated comedian, Lauren Pattison, brings her hilarious set to Darlington with award-winning comedian and host, Andy Fury.
Born in Newcastle, the young and fresh debutant brings her tales of break-ups and moving from her hometown to the capital, to a local audience.
Her previous tour ‘Lady Muck’ was Pattison’s Edinburgh Fringe debut and saw her nominated for the Fringe’s ‘Best Newcomer Award’ in 2017; she also came third in the ‘Funny Women Awards’ the same year, following on from becoming a finalist in the BBC ‘New Comedy Award’ in 2016.
The ‘Lady Muck’ tour took the Geordie comedian to Australia and New Zealand for the first time. Local and international audiences heard stories of the comic being sick as a result of being hungover in supermarkets, tales of Facebook envy, uber getaways after bad dates and an insight into being a female comic.

Despite being young, Pattison tells of her journey from heartbreak and being ‘ghosted’ by her boyfriend, subsequently leading to her online dating struggles and her big move to London. Her relatable and honest experiences are proof that her self-proclaimed ‘unexpected success’ is well deserved.
Comedian and Hilarity Bites’ ‘New Act of the Year’ 2010 winner, Andy Fury, will act as host alongside Pattison.
Just like Pattison, fellow Geordie, Fury has worked alongside some well-known comics including Sarah Millican, John Bishop and Jason Manford.
He is also a successful novelist with his self-written ‘My Cup Upset’ book following the FA Cup journey from start to finish…he wrote the book after visiting a Hebburn Town FA Cup game and it prompted a successful tour.
