Middlesbrough-born comedian/magician Pete Firman is bringing his hilarious show, ‘Marvels’, to the region this month as he performs at The Witham in Barnard Castle on Friday 8th February in what’s set to be an exciting night out consisting of incredible magic tricks accompanied by unfaltering wit.
Dubbed by TimeOut as ‘the UK’s leading comedy magician’, Firman is no stranger to television, first gracing the screens in ‘Monkey Magic’ in 2003 and he has recently appeared on ‘Tonight at the London Palladium’, ‘The Next Great Magician’, ‘The Magicians’ and ‘The John Bishop Show’. His new show, therefore, is a fantastic way to see his jaw-dropping illusions live, fully aware that he is not assisted by TV camera trickery.
Although Firman’s magic is not necessarily contemporary, you can expect to witness his unique punchy delivery and flawless sleight of hand that continues to entertain and astonish his audiences; Firman’s exuberant personality is highlighted by his spirited sense of humour and a manifested fake arrogance.
Firman toured with ‘Marvels’ around the UK in 2018, including performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, yet extra dates have been added this year due to popular demand. So make sure you see what the fuss is about – don’t miss this spectacular live show from Pete Firman on Friday 8th February.
Tickets, priced at £16.00 in advance, are available from thewitham.org.uk or by calling the venue directly on 01833 631 107. Please note: This event is for ages 14+.
