It’s been a notably successful year for super-sharp comic, Stephen Bailey. Not only did he embark on his first critically acclaimed stand-up tour but his gossipy humour also brought him a recent progression into television, having become the host of ‘Celebs on the Farm’ as well as making a number of appearances on shows including ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ and ‘Live at the Comedy Store’.
Now he returns up north to bring us his brand spanking new show ‘Our Kid’ in which he revisits his Manchester roots, his younger days and the journey to becoming the person he is now. Coupled with outrageous anecdotes and a pinch or two of risqué, this show will allow us to get to know Bailey on a more personal level while bringing hilarity and fun to the process.
In past shows, Bailey has told side-splitting stories of family holidays, social media and the trials and tribulations of single life – subjects we can all relate to in some way.
A long-time fixture on the circuit, he knows how to please a crowd, and his open and fun humour is sure to be a hit with the Newcastle audience.
If you haven’t seen Stephen in action before, he’s well worth seeing so make sure you don’t miss out when he heads to Newcastle this month.
Stephen Bailey appears at The Stand, Newcastle on Tuesday 12th February. Tickets, priced at £14.00 in advance, are available from thestand.co.uk. Doors open at 19:00.
