Situated at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Hartlepool, Hartlepool Rum Festival is set to whet the appetite of even the most discerning rum fans on Saturday 11th August.
Following the success of the festival in Portsmouth, this brand new rum-based event is setting foot in the North for the first time ever.
Featuring a vast range of rum brands, the event will include rum from right across the UK with the confirmed list so far including Alnwick Rum, Old J Rum, Bayou Rum, Dead Man’s Fingers Rum and Peaky Blinders Rum, as well as many more yet to be announced.
Music at the festival will be brought to you by The Endeavours, a local Hartlepool-based five-piece that takes influences from rock, blues and Northern Soul.
“This is an event not to be missed by rum fans and foodies alike”
There’s also an array of street food at the festival, including multiple types of cuisine from traditional African to BBQ and pizza. An authentic taste of Africa is brought to the festival by Nobias Catering, who’ll be whipping up everything from jerk stew to fried chicken and adding a hint of spice to the festival.
This is an event not to be missed by rum fans and foodies alike and is certain to be a highlight in my events calendar this year.
Tickets for the festival are available online at tickets.historicdockyard.co.uk, with £20.00 tickets including a souvenir sampling mug, souvenir event brochure, samples from the rum brands, entrance to the Tiki room with a free gift, entertainment, talks, masterclasses and more to be enjoyed on the day.
