I’m overwhelmed by the support we’ve had over the last month, and our Launch Night, at Mink in Middlesbrough, showed just how much support we’ve managed to gain in such a short space of time.
The venue was almost full to its capacity, and I’d like to say it was probably the most packed I’ve ever seen Mink - especially for a Monday night.
Our writer Aaron Lythe organised the night including booking the bands, and I must say - he managed to pull off something special. Junque, Huntsville, Allusondrugs and The Glass Moths were phenomenal. I was speaking to a number of gig-goers, promoters and venue owners at the end of the evening, and not one single person had a bad word to say about any of the bands.
The venue were so impressed with the turnout they’re extremely happy for us to run an NE Volume Magazine takeover once a month! I hope you are as excited as we are! We’re also happy to announce that, returning again on the 14th of April, will be Allusondrugs. One thing I must say though, tongue-in-cheek is: “Allusondrugs, maybe calm the passion down a little bit for next time? We want Minks equipment to remain in one piece - you crazy, eccentric guys!”
We invite you all to come down for our next event which, if it goes as well as our Launch Night, will be another amazing night.
April the 14th at Mink in Middlesbrough, put that date in your diaries music lovers.
