From a simple conversation, to implementing an entire website - we made it happen.
Whilst working for a local North East Music Magazine which was simply in print format, our Editor Lee Allcock decided that, by creating an entire website, local bands and local music fans would be able to keep up to date with the world of local music on a day to day basis. We wanted to make local music news accessible to people from the North East around-the-clock, and that is exactly why nevolume.co.uk was created.
From a simple conversation with a friend who merely said: "Why don’t you set up your own music magazine for the North East" Lee then acquired website designers, writers, photographers and graphic designers, and worked hard to get venues and promoters on board. Thankfully, everything came together, and we now believe we have created something special for music fans across the region.
We are passionate about North East music, and we want to bring local people, local music and local events together. There is so much talent out there at the moment, and so much going on, and we want to showcase what the North East has to offer.
At NE Volume Magazine our vision is simple. We want to showcase, to the world, just how surprisingly artistic, and at times poetic, the North East can truly be. We aim to be the catalyst for a North East music revival.
