A whole host of new artists have been added to the line-up of the ninth edition of the festival, taking place on Saturday 31st March.
With still more artists to be announced over the coming weeks, this year’s festival is shaping up to be one of the most varied and exciting yet.
Oddity Road and Hayley McKay added to a stage that already includes Lightning Seeds, Twisted Wheel, Llovers, and Mark Morriss.
The Green Room – curated by NARC. Magazine
Headlined by local heroes Mouses, they’ll be joined in The Green Room by Dylan Cartlidge, Velvoir, Nine Tons, Fret!, Bruto, Swine Tax, and Sleep Tape.
Added to the bill alongside We Are Scientists, Cape Cub and Fire the Unstoppable Force are Only the Poets, We Tibetans, and Uncle Buzzard.
Joining headliners The Old Pink House and Echo Town are Ten Foot Tom & The Leprosy Crooks, The RPMs, James Leonard Hewitson, Zeitgeist 77, Charlie Thomas, Eve Conway, Pink Tide, and Heather Story.
Whole Latte Love – Curated by Tracks
A brand new venue for this year’s festival, Whole Latte Love is programmed by Darlington’s Tracks collective and alongside Napoleon IIIrd and Leddie MC, they welcome Twist Helix, Primitive Painters, Lhymes, Jennifer Walton andKomparisonto the festival.
Musiclounge – Curated by Idle Promotions
Headlined by Serinette, the following bands complete the line-up: Fling, Dead Naked Hippies, Ceiling Demons, Swears, Animal Sons, Be Quiet Shout Loud, and The Broken Broadcast.
Making a welcome return as a venue for Stockton Calling, Room 21 already features chart-toppers The Spitfires as headliner but now completes its line-up with The Wainstones, Sauce, Social Room, Vida, The Voluntears, Michael Gallagher, and The Citadels.
Next week, Stockton Calling will be announcing further acts including the full line-up for The Storytellers’ stage – curated by Teesside promoters The Kids Are Solid Gold.
Stockton Calling has made a name for itself over the years by bringing some of the country’s most established names, the brightest national rising stars and the best regional acts together for an amazing day of live music.
