ARC, Tees Music Alliance and KU Bar have announced that Stockton Calling – one of the North East’s premier metropolitan music festival’s – will return for its ninth edition on Saturday 31st March 2018.
Stockton Calling has made a name for itself over the years by bringing some of the country’s most established names, the brightest national rising stars and the best regional acts together for an amazing day of live music.
Two of the venues, ARC and The Georgian Theatre, have recently made major investment into the refurbishment of their premises and Stockton continues to be the cultural hub of Teesside with new venues and bars opening on what seems like a weekly basis.
Headliners will be announced shortly and full lineups for each venue will be announced over the coming weeks and months on ARC’s and Stockton Calling’s websites as well as their social media channels.
Venues confirmed so far are: ARC, Storytellers, KU, The Georgian Theatre, and The Green Room with more to be added, along with an ever-increasing number of pop-up stages in the many micro-pubs and bars in the town.
Paul Burns, CEO of Tees Music Alliance, said: “It sounds clichéd to say that Stockton Calling goes from strength to strength, but it really does; we work with an increasingly talented bunch of bands, crews, venues and promoters and the festival benefits all the more from this.
“The 2018 line up is already looking amazing. Loyal fans of Stockton Calling – plus
those members of the audience attending for the first time – will have their socks
