Slick Teesside rockers Four Colour Ghosts are about to launch their new EP, ‘Beyond Reason’, on Saturday 24th February.
The band, who will also tour across Europe in the spring, will attack 2018 by showcasing their particularly melodic and lyrical brand of noise at The Studio in Hartlepool.
The EP release continues on from the success of their last EP, ‘Anticipation’, and album, ‘Tempting Fate’, which both received critical acclaim from fans and journalists alike.
Listen out for the first track to be released, ‘Demon’, – as well as ‘Kickdown’ and ‘Breaking My Soul and Bones’ – as the band have been experimenting without riffs so they’re keen to see how this is received by the fans.
Four Colour Ghosts’ sound has been described as a mix of styles influenced by AC/DC, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Stereophonics, as well as old-school rock ‘n’ roll. Their love of meaty guitar riffs propels their ferocious sound – so expect a loud and brash live show.
The band has also championed other local acts who complement their sound and who will be opening for them. Support acts for their Hartlepool date include The Marie Marx Band, Middlesbrough hard metal/rock band Singapore Safehouse, Unspoken Rock Band, and Fury Remains, who will be opening the show – so it’s a great night for lovers of local, original bands.
The ‘Beyond Reason’ EP Launch takes place at The Studio, Hartlepool on Saturday 24th February with doors opening at 6.30pm. Tickets, priced at £7.50 in advance, are available from fourcolourghosts.co.uk. Tickets on the door, if there are any left, will be priced at £10.00.
