Hartlepool-based hardcore indie rock band, Future Horizons will be playing the illustrious The Studio in their hometown this month as part of their August 2017 tour.
The band, who are going from strength-to-strength, have made their mark on UK music due to their diversity and unique blend of sounds. They’ve risen in popularity over the last year and are making more and more of a name for themselves as time goes on – especially as they add new tracks to their live set.
Future Horizons mix various elements together to amazing effect; blending technical guitar riffs and spacious melodies, the band are fast becoming well-known across the UK, and not just locally, for their infectious music.
Their recent single, ‘Brittle Versita’ gained a lot of positive reception and captured the sound of their live performance perfectly – pushing the band into the public eye.
The four-piece’s Hartlepool gig will see the band play a range of tracks, including some unreleased and some already released. But either way, the band play music you can immediately fall in love with.
Future Horizons are part of the small group of bands who are emerging from Hartlepool right now, including the likes of Plaza and the Jar Family, to name but a few – and it’s great to see that they’re receiving the recognition they deserve.
Support for the night comes via Mongeese – Newcastle’s proggy/post hardcore tricksters- and Gufra – a local band who have been performing live rigorously for a little while now.
The event takes place on Friday 11th August. Tickets, priced at £5.50 in advance, are available from Seetickets.com.
