Head down to Saltburn this month for a Saturday full of phenomenal live music featuring acclaimed bands of almost all genres from across the country. On Saturday 14th July, Saltburn House Hotel opens its doors to Saltburn Calling, the town’s annual festival of music for a fantastic day of live music celebration.
Headlining will be Brighton-based psychedelic garage punk duo, Skinny Milk. The Band have just released their new single ‘Blood’ and are currently touring as Male Gaze supporting Oh Sees, Once and A Future Band, Flatworms and Kelly Stoltz at Castlemania 2018.
Also featuring on the bill are Leeds sprung dark post-punk outfit Klammer and York’s very own rockabilly, garage and traditional gum-chewing greaser rock ‘n’ roll band Snakerattlers who have this year signed to Wipeout Music Publishing, lining up alongside the likes of Sleaford Mods, Holy Moly and The Crackers and Avalanche Party to name but a few.
Esteemed DJ’s from local Psychedelic Music Event Organisation and expert party starters Lost in the Woods will be entertaining the crowd all day. Lost in the Wood have curated their very own live acoustic stage, The Come Down Stage, and so far, such acts as The Woven Project, Independent State of Mind, Marcus H Soiled Warped Freqs, Dale Husband and Co and Mimi O’Malley have been announced to perform.
Many more acts are set to play Saltburn Calling and will be announced closer to the date. To find out more please visit the Saltburn Calling event page on Facebook.
