Where do we start with such a diversified act as the London-based band, The Wandering Hearts?
Their inspirations – which include everyone from Fleetwood Mac and The Civil Wars to Chris Stapleton – certainly show across their debut album, ‘Wild Silence’; we find a strong country-folk blend with a good measure of Americana and upbeat pop vibes throughout the aforementioned release.
The balance of male/female vocals shared by all four members – Chess, Tara, Tim and AJ -adds further impact to the blissfully arranged instrumentation.
One of the many venues they’re set to strike in the UK this month is the highly-rated Riverside in Newcastle which, I’m sure you’ll known by now, has been taken back to its roots as a celebrated live space for local, national and international touring bands.
The Wandering Hearts head to Riverside, Newcastle on Monday 3rd December. Tickets, priced at £14.10 in advance, are available from riversidenewcastle.co.uk.
Support for the night comes from Ruston Kelly and Fiona Bevan.
