Local folk-rock outfit Wagjammer is set to release their debut studio album entitled ‘The Signs’ early this month – and they are doing so with a bang! The Exchange, North Shields will be the venue for this exclusive album launch performance which is sure to feature long-awaited new music.
The Wagjammer way, according to the Tyneside quartet, is making big serious noises whilst having fun with an upbeat folk-rock vibe which is organically homegrown and recorded at Wagjammer HQ, the marital home of band members Glenn and Wendy, in the heart of North Shields.
The excitement surrounding their debut album ‘The Signs’ continues to build in anticipation of this month’s release and has already been, rather comically, described as ‘like being waterboarded with ambrosia’ – if that doesn’t make you want to check it out, I don’t know what will.
Wagjammer’s debut album launch and performance takes over The Exchange, North Shields on Saturday 8th September.
