The Wildcats of Kilkenny have undeniably come a long way since their first gig in a packed Egglescliffe Village Hall back in 1991, and this month they return home with a highly-anticipated strip-backed performance at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium in Yarm.
Fans can expect a divergence from the norm, as the band is set to look back on close to 30 year’s worth of material. Frontman Mike McGrother will be exploring the connection between his Irish heritage and his Teesside home by means of story and song – all whilst recalling his time on the road with the band. Male voice choir, Infant Hercules, are set to support The Wildcats too – so this will be a night certain to leave you feeling proud to be a Teessider.
The Wildcats of Kilkenny play the Princess Alexandra Auditorium, Yarm on Friday 7th September. Tickets are priced at £19.50 (including booking fee) and are available to purchase online at arconline.co.uk or by contacting the ARC Box Office directly on 01642 525199.
