After last year’s immense success, Darlington’s Music Box festival is back.
On Sunday 11th June, Hole In The Wall, Avalon and Hash Bar are opening their doors to 30+ local acts in order to celebrate the diversity and accomplishments that the North East music scene currently has to offer.
In association with Tracks, Music Box festival is one of a kind. It’s not every day that you can attend gigs of the biggest and brightest musical stars of the North East all in one town, discovering new acts round every corner.
5 stages will be set up including Avalon’s Jukebox stage and Beatbox stage, Hash’s Roofbox stage, Hole In The Wall’s Soapbox stage and the town centre’s Outbox stage. From acclaimed local alternative bands such as Jukebox stage headliners Avalanche Party, to unique and diverse artists such as rapper Kv$shnoodle, there’s something for everyone.
On the Jukebox stage you’ll find: Avalanche Party, James Leonard Hewitson, Primitive Painters, Velvoir, Llovers, ILSER, The Circus Villains and Salvadors.
On the Beatbox stage you’ll find: Jister, Legitimate Anarchy, Kay Greyson, Kv$shnoodle, Rex Ragis and Nab C.
On the Roofbox stage you’ll find: Dan Donnelly, George Boomsma, Samantha Durnan, Ridley Woof, Cherry Head, Cherry Heart, James Gray Robson & The Lovely Burn, Bad Bob Bates and Old Muggins.
On the Soapbox stage you’ll find: Keiandra, Kalanova, The Approved, Outside Your House and Ronald Raygun.
On the Outbox stage you’ll find: Eve Conway, Chris Davison, Sonder Minds and Caitlin Morrow.
With a lineup as brilliant as this, Music Box Festival is set to be a busy day for Darlington. Tickets are available from any of the venues for £7.00 in advance or £10 on the day.
