Sunday 3rd November will see multi-talented ‘Threads’ actor Reece Dinsdale interviewed at The Waiting Room in Eaglescliffe – and you’re invited to come along.
In the latest showing of the regular live chat shows at The Waiting Room, Dinsdale will be questioned onstage by writer, BBC broadcaster and self-avowed film and telly geek, Bob Fischer.
2018 saw the reissue of ‘Threads’ on DVD and Blu-ray, with Reece playing terrified young father-to-be, Jimmy Kemp. It was a breakthrough role for Dinsdale, although he had already enjoyed a successful stage career and starred in ‘A Private Function’ alongside Michael Palin and Maggie Smith.
Reece has also starred in ‘Home To Roost’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘Spooks’, ‘Life on Mars’, ‘Silent Witness’ and ‘Coronation Street’ and won Best Actor at the Geneva Film Festival for his lead role in ‘ID’, playing an undercover police officer dragged into the murky world of football hooliganism.
Reece is also a director and in 2012 directed his first drama for television entitled ‘The Crossing’. In 2009, Dinsdale also wrote the short film ‘Imaginary Friend’ which premiered at the 360/365 Film Festival in New York.
