Cool off this summer by planning a magical Christmas at Life Science Centre.
While the summer sunshine may be in full swing, Life Science Centre is encouraging families to start thinking ahead to the festive season with the launch of its popular Christmas experiences.
Returning after another sell-out year, Life’s Santa Experience will welcome visitors from 21st November with an all-new adventure, Operation Christmas Eve. Families will step into a brand-new corner of the North Pole, where Santa’s hardworking elves are racing to prepare for the biggest night of the year.
As part of the experience, visitors can enjoy festive science-themed entertainment, including live experiments in the elves’ Christmas Eve workshop. Children will also have the chance to meet Santa, receive a special gift and take home a Christmas Eve bag filled with festive treats.
Tickets, priced at £25.00, also include full access to Life Science Centre’s attractions, including The Great Dinosaur Escape exhibition and the award-winning planetarium show What Santa Sees, which follows Santa and his reindeer on their magical journey across the night sky.
Life’s popular outdoor ice rink will also return to Times Square from 7th November, with tickets already on sale and early bird offers available for the opening weekend.
Open until 3rd January, the real ice rink has become a festive favourite, welcoming skaters of all ages and abilities throughout the Christmas season. Alongside daily skating sessions, this year’s programme will feature a series of themed evenings inspired by ABBA, Olivia Dean and Nashville music.
Ice rink tickets cost £15.75 for adults, £14.50 for children and £15 for concessions. Visitors can also purchase a flexi ticket, allowing them to reschedule their session if needed. Separate pricing applies for Christmas Eve sessions.
With tickets expected to be in high demand, advance online booking is recommended for both the Santa Experience and the outdoor ice rink.
