Nottingham’s unlikely heroes, Sleaford Mods, head to Middlesbrough Town Hall this month to speak some home truths, with their proud working-class poetry combined with electronic punk minimalism.
Something to be held in high respect is when you can identify what part of the country a British band is from; with Williamson’s voice so unapologetic and showing pride in his birthplace.
The electronic punk outfit will be promoting their new album scheduled to be brought out on 22nd February 2019; the album will be the duo’s fifth studio effort and is the first to be released on newly formed label, Extreme Eating.
What is refreshing to see is that Sleaford Mods still keep their live shows simplistic and true to what they are saying and who they are: there are no smoke machines, stage props or eccentric showmanship, just their raw, unapologetic talent.
