Born in the Golden State of California, Jesca Hoop has had quite a career, from being discovered by Tom Waits to singing in Peter Gabriel’s band.
But following a phone call with Elbow’s Guy Garvey, the UK called and the acoustic folk artist made her way to Manchester.
Since the release of her recent album ‘Stonechild’, Hoop has received huge acclaim from fans and critics alike and is now heading out on the road.
Her travels will bring her to Gateshead’s Sage on Friday 25th November where she will showcase her beautiful idea-filled intricate tracks.
