Byker Grave Promotions continue their impressive programme of metal this summer as they welcome Liturgy to Trillians on Monday 21st August.
Since forming in 2009, Liturgy’s sound has developed from a more conventional black-metal sound to the “transcendental” avant-garde leviathan we know them as today.
Fusing visceral black metal howls and tremolo guitars with influences across classical, electronica, hip-hop and progressive territories, the Brooklyn-based band have been championed by Pitchfork and Rolling Stone for their fearless creativity and explosive live performances.
Support comes from the equally mind-bending Plague Rider from Newcastle, whose nightmarish blend of technical death metal and harsh noise is as unsettling as it is brilliant.
Tickets, priced at £13.00 in advance, are available from bykergrave.bigcartel.com.
