Rob Copland, winner of the Comedians’ Choice Award in his debut year, brings his acclaimed show ‘Gimme (One With Everything)’ to Newcastle’s Alphabetti Theatre on Friday 16th May.
Described by critics as “high energy”, it’s perhaps more accurate to picture a comic who’s downed a couple of double espressos and then sprinted onto the stage. Copland’s act is a whirlwind blend of absurd observational humour and pure, unfiltered chaos.
This isn’t your standard stand-up – don’t expect the polished patter of Live at the Apollo. Instead, it’s something raw, unpredictable and completely off the wall.
The show takes audiences on a clownish, kinetic journey through life’s everyday absurdities and deeper existential puzzles. Where it’s going? No one really knows — possibly not even Rob himself — but the result is one of the wildest, funniest rides on the UK comedy scene.
If you like your comedy fast, messy, and wildly inventive, ‘Gimme (One With Everything)’ is not to be missed.
Tickets, priced from £3.00 in advance, are available from alphabettitheatre.co.uk.
