Durham Brewery is hosting its 29th annual Beer Festival on Saturday 29th July this year.
Opening in 1994, the Brewery has been consistently producing top-of-the-range bottled, cask and keg beers since it opened. The festival promises to include all the familiar drinks that the company has become known for and if it’s anything like last year’s event, there’ll be plenty of beer, cider, spirits, wine, and food for everyone.
Whilst no official announcement has been released (at the time of writing) as to which beers will be available on the day, the brewery has stated that there’ll be both new drinks and old classics available. The brewery is versatile in its brewing approach, with Pale Ales, IPAs, Bitters and Blondes making up just a few of the many types of beer available on site.
With the brewery producing new and high-quality beer, guests can choose something familiar or will have the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and try something refreshingly unique. The festival will also include live music performances, with three artists already announced for the date including Carrie Steele, James Hedley, and Tony Bengtsson, with each musician providing their own unique sound to accompany the festival.
Children and dogs don’t require tickets in order to enter the festival, and from looking at the photos from 2022’s event, there’ll be plenty of K9s on site. So for all the dog lovers out there, this might just be the perfect day out for you.
The organisers have advised that guests bring their own foldable chairs as seating is limited at the brewery. And the friendly staff at the brewery will, of course, be on hand should anyone require any assistance or have any questions throughout the day.
With the event proving to be so popular last year, tickets are going fast, so if you are eager to go and soak up the sun with a refreshing pint of your choosing, get to the website and confirm your place.
Tickets to the festival are priced at £15.00, which will get you a limited edition pint glass or tumbler and three drinks tokens that can be exchanged for any half pint up to 5% abv or can be used for the other soft and alcoholic drinks available.
