Finally, after waiting more than six months, we can start announcing some live music nights at the new NE Volume Music Bar in Stockton!
Taking place on Friday 18th September, we’re delighted to be bringing something a little bit special to the venue as we bring Andrew Johnson and a super-secret support to Stockton.
From singing with Amsterdam Film Company in the early noughties to current work with Crimson Bloom, Cherry Head, Cherry Heart and leading the successful Southmartins tribute who recently sold out Middlesbrough Town Hall, Stockton-based singer-songwriter Andrew Johnson has kept himself active on the scene for over 20 years with as many self-released albums under his belt.
Via a chance request from twitter, he’s compiled all four of the lockdown EPs he’s created to come up with an 18-track double album of new material to be released in September with 50% of sales going to the NSPCC.
Andy is digging deep into his repertoire to deliver a rare solo show (albeit with a very special secret support!
And on the secret support, well, it wouldn’t be a secret if we told you but Andrew has been championing them for a number of years and is a very big fan.
