Since announcing the release of ‘The Silent Spring’ EP, and promising to split any profit with two nature-focused organisations (BDMLR & Wild Intrigue), Hector Gannet have further cemented their reputation as a band with a conscience.
Having had the honour of their beautifully animated video for ‘The Silent Spring’ being shared by famed naturalist Chris Packham, the band have since forged two formal partnerships; firstly, with the VIVARA, Europe’s biggest suppliers of bird food, and the other with North East-based CIC, Wild Intrigue.
This, on the back of a successfully released debut album, despite the pandemic, has given the band such a healthy following in the North East that their next show in Newcastle will see them play their biggest headline show to date.
