Hailing from the musical hotbed of North Shields, Hector Gannet give a strong nod to the town’s seafaring legacy, taking their name from a trawler lost in the North Sea.
Their early music, born from a blend of shipbuilding history and modern folk, formed part of a cultural project.
Coveted support slots with Sam Fender, Elbow, and Peter Doherty – alongside captivating headline performances – have cemented the band as a must-see act.
They play Independent, Sunderland on Friday 14th November, for the launch of ‘The Jetty’s End’ / ‘Until My Bonnie Can Be Revived’.
