Mackem indie-punk madmen Dead Wet Things present the second instalment of their sizzling ‘Summers Ending’ event, billed as ‘Dead Wet Things and Friends’, at Sunderland’s Independent. Bid farewell to festival season with live performances from a carefully assembled line-up of bands guaranteed to rock your socks off.
Adding to this multi-genre all-dayer are Easy Company, Tearjerker, Seizure, Wool and Carlisle band Nuisance to the Neighbour.
Dead Wet Things, renowned for their chaotic, high-energy tracks such as ‘Big Bag a’ Cans’ (2024), produced by Futureheads singer Barry Hyde, will perform a homecoming set themselves.
Tickets, priced from £11.00 in advance, are available at independentsunderland.com.
