Glasgow’s Gallus bring their unorthodox brand of indie-punk to Sunderland’s Independent on Sunday 19th October.
Unorthodox perhaps because they named the band after the pub where they formed, or because they recruited their lead singer – an old school friend with no musical background – after seeing him in a college play. Whatever the reason, their method has clearly worked.
Gallus have fast become one of the most exciting live acts on Scotland’s underground scene, building a reputation for energy, unpredictability, and raw charisma.
With momentum firmly behind them, the only way is up, and this Sunderland date is your chance to catch them in action.
Tickets, priced at £12.00 in advance, are available at independentsunderland.com.
