Rock fans are in for an extra special treat this month as Tired Of Fighting prepare to play the Little Buildings in Ouseburn with a host of local talent.
The three-piece emo Geordie band, who are known for their deeply passionate song lyrics and highly energetic early Millenium emo-punk sound, will headline the venue on Saturday 27th November, with the event due to start at 7pm and a host of local talents appearing as support.
Opening proceedings will be Sunderland-based rock band, Hivemind. The four-piece released their debut album back in March 2018 and have received growing support through BBC Introducing North East, with lead singer Georgia often compared vocally to that of Paramore frontwoman, Hayley Williams.
Also providing support for the evening will be Newcastle-based pop-punk three-piece, Nomad Anthem. Formed back in 2019, their debut single received great acclaim across the live rock scene. With the band recently playing at The Great British Alternative Festival in October along with fellow local rock peers The Wildhearts and Stiff Little Fingers, they’re really making waves. And their upcoming single will see them team up with One Million Motors, Tired of Fighting and Filthy Filthy for what is sure to be another rocking banger of a tune.
Completing the line-up for the evening will be Newcastle-based rock outfit, Ruled By Raptors. Formed in 2018, and comprising of lead guitarist and vocalist Chris Bradley, bassist Nick Oliver and drummer Will Robson, the band, formerly known as Digits, have been sonically compared to bands such as Biffy Clyro and Deftones. They’ve also worked alongside top rock producers on their two previous EPs including the producer for Bring Me The Horizon, with their new four-track EP ‘Silent Sound’ due for release in 2022.
Tired of Fighting, Nomad Anthem, Hivemind and Ruled by Raptors will play The Little Buildings in Newcastle on Saturday 27th November.
Tickets, priced at £7.00 in advance, are available from littlebuildingslive.com.
