Following on from the success of their first event in September, Hartlepool Town Hall will be hosting their second ‘Town Hall Live’ on Friday 22nd December, featuring a selection of popular home-grown artists including Plaza, Para Alta, Max Bianco and Gra4ce.
Opening up the event will be psychedelic and dream-pop singer-songwriter, Gra4ce – a fantastic and fresh artist from Hartlepool that brings dark techno influences (think Aphex Twin) into the bright world of dream-pop.
The next act on the line up is Max Bianco, a member of the inventors of industrial folk and proud Hartlepudians, The Jar Family. He will be performing his solo work which, although slightly different from his work with The Jar Family, still has that distinct industrial folk vibe that we’ve all grown to love.
The act up before the headliners will be non-other than local indie band, Para Alta, whose latest release ‘Home to You’ has hit over 100k listens on Spotify in a short space of time.
Headliners, Plaza, are a gritty and grungy math-rock group from Hartlepool that have risen to prominence in the North East recently; regularly selling out shows across the region as they showcase their mind-bending psychedelic set of complex guitar riffs and melancholy melodies to an enthusiastic audience.
This is the second Town Hall Live in the quarterly event series, with plans already underway for number three following the success of their first show.
In terms of the venue, it’s a fantastic bespoke live entertainment venue in the heart of Hartlepool with an impressive capacity of 400.
Tickets for this one are priced at just £5.00 and can be purchased at hartlepooltownhalltheatre.com.
