Coast Fest has unveiled the first wave of acts for Coast Fest ’26, as the award-winning festival prepares to return to Percy Park RFC in North Shields over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from 28–30 August 2026.
Now firmly established as one of the North East’s favourite family festivals, Coast Fest will once again bring together live music, family entertainment, local food and community spirit across three themed days celebrating pop, dance and indie music.
Headlining this year’s event are Boyzlife, Kelly Llorenna, Hixxy and The Ordinary Boys, supported by a carefully curated programme of regional artists, DJs and performers showcasing the very best of North East talent. More announcements are still to come, including a special Saturday surprise.
Away from the stages, Coast Fest continues to build on its reputation as a true family day out. Alongside two outdoor music stages, visitors can enjoy a dedicated Kids’ Area across Saturday and Sunday, a bustling marketplace featuring local traders, a wide range of food vendors, fully stocked bars and activities designed for all ages.
A key part of this year’s festival is its continued support for Quinn’s Retreat, a North East charity that provides much-needed respite for families bereaved by suicide. Through this partnership, Coast Fest hopes to raise both awareness and funds, while helping more families access the time, space and support they need following the loss of a loved one.
By supporting Quinn’s Retreat, the festival is reaffirming its commitment to using music and community to make a positive difference beyond the stage.
