Stalwarts of the reggae music scene, Pama International will play Gosforth’s Civic Theatre as part of their first live tour in six years.
Formed more than 20 years ago, Pama International are no strangers to the mainstream having appeared live across different BBC radio stations including recording live sessions at the iconic Maida Vale Studios.
In 2006, the eight-piece ensemble became the first new band to sign for record company Trojan Records for 30 years.
The band’s appearance in Newcastle on Friday 8th March coincides with the release of the band’s first album in more than five years, ‘Return of the Unity Rockers’.
Support on the night comes from Georgia May and Radikal Queen.
Tickets, priced at £16.00 in advance, are available from gosforthcivictheatre.co.uk.
