Few names carry as much weight in the noise-rock scene as New York’s Unsane. Formed in 1988, their blend of metallic heaviness and noisy experimentalism, all delivered with a typical New York hardcore abrasiveness, has seen the band develop a devoted cult following.
Joining founding member and guitarist/vocalist Chris Spencer will be Daughter’s drummer Jon Syverson and bassist Cooper of Paradise Players Club, as the new line-up will focus on earlier cuts from their back catalogue following a remastered rerelease of their self-titled debut LP.
They perform at The Lubber Fiend in Newcastle on Friday 28th October.
