Darlington duo, Analogue Blood, are back with their punk-metal/rap-infused EP, ‘Kill Those Beats.’
The outfit began work on the release back in 2019; however, work on it was postponed until September 2020 due to COVID-19. The wait is certainly worth it as the duo have put together a fascinating mix of EBM dance beats with the guitar-driven riffs and ambient psychedelic passages flowing perfectly within each structure.
The EP includes tracks such as ‘Until The Sun’, ‘Frozen’, ‘EBS’ and ‘Insomnia’. ‘Insomnia’ is a track, like ‘Never Fall Down’ released in 2019, which conveys personal messages from Ian himself and is a touching piece of work and one that many of us can relate to.
The outfit’s first EP, ‘Advanced Weapon Systems Activated’, was released in 2019, showcasing the talent of Ian on guitar/programming synths and Lee on live drums – and this new EP shows just how much the two-piece have progressed in such a short space of time.
‘Kill Those Beats’ is due to be released on 9th November and is available on all music platforms.
