North East–based synth-pop producer, musician, and vocalist Andrew Flynn prides himself on creating music that feels “bigger than the room it was created in”, and on listening to his brand new track, it’s hard to disagree.
‘GHOST 2.0’ is a song made with heart. Its lyrics feel genuine and emotionally direct, while the steady pulse of the drums provides a constant heartbeat throughout. Flynn’s melodic vocal delivery draws you in immediately, evoking the hazy, euphoric atmosphere of an Ibiza nightclub in full flow. Whether you’re sitting with headphones on or moving instinctively to the beat, the track works effortlessly.
Blending thumping club rhythms with ethereal synth-pop textures and raw, sincere emotion, ‘GHOST 2.0’ strikes a balance between introspection and dancefloor appeal. It’s the kind of track that can make you feel something deeply human while still inviting you to lose yourself in its rhythm.
Beyond this release, Flynn’s wider catalogue is well worth exploring. He even produces his own accompanying videos, including for ‘GHOST 2.0’, adding another layer to his creative output.
Well produced and sincerely made, this is a track that deserves your attention. You can listen to ‘GHOST 2.0’ now on all major streaming platforms.
