Local lads Smoove & Turrell have been keeping themselves busy during lockdown after their album tour was cut short. With a weekly Friday spot on up-and-comer TRHY Radio, the outfit are also set to release their sixth studio album, ‘Stratos Bleu’.
Their feel-good funky rhythms mixed with R&B/Hip-Hop beats and soulful lyrics makes for the perfect chilled soundtrack.
Turrell’s lyricism and Smoove’s production has allowed for their sixth album to give more focus to the keyboard Synth by Mike Porter; this has been exaggerated as a nod to their experiences in the early ‘90s clubbing days.
The whole album is full of feel-good anthems that’ll get you moving even during these trying times.
After celebrating 10 years in the business with the release of ‘I’m a Man’ and ‘Give it Back’ last year, their sixth album has been long-awaited and is now available on CD, LP and digitally.
