Tez Ilyas headlines a Reality Bites Comedy Club night at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Friday 21st June. The renowned comic and previous host of The Tez O’ Clock Show on Channel 4 is accustomed to sold-out shows, headline tours and a wide range of media appearances encompassing a plethora of panel shows, the popular BBC3 sitcom Man Like Mobeen and his own BBC Radio 4 show, TEZ Talks.
With a smooth and deviously alluring style, Ilyas is also known to keep a provocation folded neatly up his sleeve for use at the time of maximum impact, and these tend to come with a genuinely transgressive streak.
