A dark comedy sing-along karaoke theatre show is coming to Newcastle this month as ‘Sh*t Life Crisis’ heads to Alphabetti Theatre from Thursday 5th until Saturday 7th June.
Created by award-winning northern theatre company Silent Uproar, this darkly comic karaoke play by Newcastle’s Olivia Hannah (Braids) explores life, survival, grief and friendship through the lens of two friends navigating life after cancer.
Raw, real, and riotously funny, the show invites audiences to sing along to the soundtrack of life, making it possibly the most fun you’ll ever have while questioning life, death and everything in between.
Following Grace, who has survived cancer with the support of her best friend Abbie, the story delves into what happens after survival – and the challenge of learning to live again.
Olivia Hannah said: “This play has been percolating for a long time. Making it a karaoke show feels like the perfect evolution, and Silent Uproar are the perfect collaborators.”
Tickets, priced from £3.00 in advance, are available at silentuproarproductions.co.uk.
