Modern-day blues cornerstone and Planet Rock favourite Joanne Shaw Taylor brings her 2020 UK tour to the North East this month as she prepares to play the Riverside in Newcastle.
Dubbed “the new face of the blues”, her live show is a perfect blend of dizzying guitar sorcery, immeasurable stage presence and massive blues anthems.
Originally discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at the age of 16, hits such as ‘Who Do You Love?’, ‘Blackest Day’ and ‘Time has Come’ have earned extensive radio play and helped cement Joanne Shaw Taylor as one of the most beloved names in the current blues scene.
Touring in support of the 2019’s well-received release ‘Reckless Heart’, attendees can expect to hear an array of songs from the Wednesbury natives’ seven-album career.
