Detroit underground legends the Soledad Brothers are back together and heading to The Cluny in Newcastle this month.
Formed in Ohio, the three-piece rock band features Benjamin Swank on drums, Johnny Walker on guitar and harmonica, and Henry Oliver on bass and keys.
Their gritty, self-titled debut album (2000) was produced by their neighbour and collaborator Jack White and featured guest percussion from Meg White.
After disbanding in 2006, fans feared they would never see the trio perform again. Now, two decades later, the band has reunited to resurrect their raw garage-rock sound. Hallelujah.
Tickets, priced at £20.00 in advance, are available at thecluny.com.
