South London band The Maccabees formed in the noughties, contributing to the indie explosion of the era and using the MySpace platform to boost their early success. Their 2007 debut album ‘Colour It In’ became the soundtrack to many a sharp-fringed indie night out, earning them widespread recognition and popularity.
The band disbanded in 2017 before reuniting in 2024, much to the delight of long-standing fans and new listeners alike.
Featuring their original line-up, The Maccabees, whose hits include ‘Toothpaste Kisses’ and ‘About Your Dress’, will perform a selection of classics and fan favourites at the O2 City Hall in Newcastle this July.
Tickets, priced at £48.70 in advance, are available HERE.
