Newcastle five-piece pop band Friends Like These have carefully and meticulously created their new single, ‘Good Time’, which is a snappy, catchy, feel-good, energetic masterpiece.
The track sounds like it has been heavily inspired by artist such as The 1975 and Walk the Moon and I would even say there are glimpses of The Feeling in their too.
The recording production on this is impeccable, with its dreaming synthesiser, smooth guitar riffs, funky bass and groovy disco drum beats.
It is completed with the icing on the cake of pitch-perfect lead vocals which are instantly infectious; the tune is the perfect introduction to their style and flair.
This is a song that will have you on the dance floor as it has all the perfect components of infectious pop music: it’s easy to sing along to, radio-friendly and more importantly – they are an attractive looking bunch.
