Taking place at The Studio in Hartlepool on Saturday 12th July, Vulgarfest promises an all-day onslaught of “extreme metal monstrosities”. With the lineup they’ve assembled, that promise will not be broken, though your eardrums may well be tested.
Curated by local death metal outfit Vulgar Dissection, who also perform on the day, the event is headlined by Glaswegian band Scordatura. Hull’s brutal supergroup Impurist, Hartlepool’s own Rumination, Norwich grindcore act Vast Slug, Norwich’s Liquified, old-school death metal group Final Witness, and Yorkshire’s comedic speedcore outfit G.C.M., the self-proclaimed inventors of ‘Cakecore’ make up the rest of the lineup.
Expect chaos, volume and intensity from start to finish.
