Australian indie rock band DMA’s graced Teesside with their legendary presence once again, this time at the grandiose Middlesbrough Town Hall.
Starting proceedings with ‘How Many Dreams’ from their new album, it was an instant hit with fans who were belting out all the lyrics (impressive, as it was only released 2 weeks prior).
The venue was lit up with intense blue lighting and strobes as they went on to play classics such as ‘The Glow’ and ‘Silver’.
An iconic viral video of the lads performing popular hit ‘Delete’ the night before in Bradford was a hot topic amongst fans who were excitedly anticipating experiencing the same moment.
As track ‘Girlfriend’ was coming to an end, the band were repeatedly chanting the last verse and the crowd was buzzing with excitement, as they knew they were being teased with something amazing about to happen.
Suddenly, the stage lights turned a dazzling purple and the much anticipated acoustic start of ‘Delete’ commenced. It was a magical moment; every fan with their arms outstretched and revelling in it.
The lads are back in June at The Middlesbrough Empire for a special, intimate and stripped-back set to carry on the celebrations of their new album.
