Whereas No Time For Reason’s genre of music may not be my particular favourite, it’s undeniable that they can fill out the Academy 2 and create music that connects with their audience.
It’s also undeniable that they’ve worked particularly hard on their image and attitude, with tracks like ‘Reviver’ having a clear emo/rock intent and being delivered solidly and with a terrific live rhythm section.
Keeping their set nicely trimmed and well-curated, No Time For Reason give it their all tonight; happy to showcase their work and to push their messages about society and taking time to understand each other.
If the point of art is to bring us closer together and to create meaningful experiences then No Time For Reason do that in spades tonight with their audience.
