When London-born band Teeth of the Sea make their way to Newcastle this month expect nothing short of a mystical encounter.
The unique trait of this band is their innate ability to merge sounds of different genres into an entrancing, musical tapestry.
The outfit are contemporary psychedelic alchemists with genre-bending powers. Their latest album, ‘Wraith’, captures this essence as it incorporates the progressive rock styles of Goblin with the dream-inducing, minimalistic techno of Tangerine Dream, finally coated with a smooth, but haunting, layer of jazz.
So head to The Cluny this month and allow Teeth of the Sea to drift you through their magical soundscapes.
Teeth of the Sea will head to The Star and Shadow Cinema, Newcastle on Saturday 8th June. Tickets, priced at £9.35 in advance, are available from seetickets.com.
